Big Trouble, Bigger Hair
Misty tracked down one of her friends who told us she was with a group of girls and they where planning on going to a play at 7:00pm at her school.
I debated wither I should call the police to pick her up and embarrassed her that way or to embarrass her myself. As you can see by the pictures Misty and I decided to go to the school and embarrass her.
So we went to the school sat in the front where everyone was waiting to go in for the play and watched for Aaliyah, about ten min later Aaliyah came walking in with her friends, Misty and I walked up to her scared her friends and pulled Aaliyah out of the school.
Misty and I laugh so hard about this, I havent laught that hard in a long time
I looked awful and it was kind of embarrassing but I would do it again in a heart beat it was great.
You might be thinking why is it that I decided to do this. Its because over the last few months we have had are battles with Aaliyah and it just keeps getting more defiant I have tried every punishmnet and reward system there is. So far this has proven to work, also adding some more rules as well.

Its time!
Sorry its been a while since I have posted anything at this rate I will never get caught up to the current date.
After I broke my foot life became less eventful for a few weeks. I couldn't drive due to the walking cast so I didn't leave the house much. I was able to get the rest of things set up for Treysen's arrival, with a lot of help from Aaliyah she help me put his room together, which included putting together the crib and rocking chair. Aaliyah was such a big help.
When I broke my foot I was two weeks from my due date, I was scared I was going to go into labor early and my foot wouldn't have healed enough and my sister in law Marielle was coming up from Arizona to be here for the birth as well.
The doctors visits leading up to my due date didn't show any progress Marielle came in on Nov 1st and I was due the 4th, I went to my doctors appt on the 5th and he let me know that I was still no closer to having Treysen, he told me he would induce me the next week if nothing had changed or I had not gone into labor on my own. I was pretty much devastate I was hoping he was going to say lets start you today.
I called my family and said its not going to be this week, Marielle arranged to stay for another week and so we waited.

Not so graceful
So I said I would start out by telling you about some events that happened over the last few months.
To start things off I was laid off from my job on Oct 10th. By the 10th I was so tired physically from being pregnant, working full time, and just emotionally drained that in So many ways it was a good thing, at the time I thought I had about 4 weeks left till my due date. The next week I didn't do much I slept and hung around the house.
About a week and a half after my last day at work I did what only really clumsy pregnant women do, I stepped off my back porch and broke my foot. Yes its true I am not very graceful and it showed.
So here is what happened I thought it would be nice to help out Misty and fix a whole in the fence in our back yard so Barkley (Misty's cute little dog) could go into the back yard and not be able to jump through the fence.
As I was coming out the back door I looked over and saw Aaliyah pointing the staple gun at her face with her finger on the trigger, so I stop looking at where I am going and focus my attention on her. I proceed down the stairs while I was telling her not to point the staple gun at her face and telling her it is unsafe. As I step off the last step I step on the one part of the pavement that is uneven, there is a 1 inch difference at this one point in the pavement I stepped just right and rolled my foot. I didn't fall, I was able to hop over to a chair, Aaliyah brought me ice and a pillow and I called my mom and Misty. My mom came and picked me up and misty met us at the hospital. We sat in my doctors office for two hours before he saw me only to tell me that they couldn't do any x-rays till the next day, so I went home and delt with the pain because all I could take was Tylenol. Then next day we waited for the call from the doctors it never came in so my mom started to make calls and we went to the hospital to get the x-rays.
I broke my foot right over the arch. This happened almost 2 weeks to the date of my due date and the only thing I could think of was I am going to have to sit on this broken foot till after I have Treysen and then have surgery.
I didn't need surgery, he put me in a walking boot for 3 weeks and a walking shoe for 2.
Thanks heaven for small miracles

We are back
It has been awhile since we have updated Ralph's blog. It has been very hard over last few months and I am still trying everyday.
I want to start by letting everyone that has called, come by, or sent cards and letters that I am eternally great full.
I also want everyone to know that I am going to keep up the blog. It was originally set up so that we could keep everyone posted about Ralph, and now I will post about his son (Treysen Ralph Placencia).
Truthfully this is the first blog I have done so bare with me. I am also going to post and write about the last few months.
There will be lots more post in the next few weeks.

Emergency Trip to Hospital
Ralph's condition worsened this week. Yesterday, his wife and I made a mad dash to LDS Hospital. Ralph was put in ICU. They had to push several IV's to get Ralph re-hydrated. Later in the evening though, he was enjoying watching the USA/Turkey basketball game.
As of this morning, he is maintaining his own blood pressure but still in a lot of pain. The doctors have scheduled a CT scan today, they are trying to figure out why his abdomen is so painful. We will try to post as often as possible to let you know how he is doing.
